Leadership pipeline is something I stand by as a manger who implements it. It has helped me build a progressive development plan for my team and has been a great motivating factor.
In my point of view, leadership development is mandatory not only for managerial positions but also for ground level employees. It's because if they are given a training to take leadership roles even in their own job role, they can mentor their own performance. Besides, these employees will not remain in one position forever, therefore it's the duty of the employers to provide proper leadership and training programmes for all employees.
